Last month I took a trip to Puerto Vallarta, a magical place in Mexico situated on the Pacific coast. I have frequented Cabo and traveled to Cancun and Cozumel, but this was my first trip to Puerto Vallarta. It did not disappoint! The lush greenery, blue water and beautiful sandy beaches made for a gorgeous backdrop to our relaxing week. We were lucky enough to stay in a house on the Bay of Banderas with a little secluded beach.
Our hacienda had beautiful bright orange and turquoise colors.
This little guy was the cutest! The house was occupied by three monkeys that had a lot of energy and enjoyed eating mango (even more than me).
I thought Los Angeles had beautiful flowers, but Mexico might take the cake. There were vibrant colors everywhere… these were just on our balcony!
I still daydream of this view…
The breakfasts may have been my favorite part of the trip. Fruit, pancakes, omelettes, huevos rancheros.. you name it, we ate it.
These new Nissa Jewelry pieces were perfect for this white dress I wore to dinner on our first night.
This was also a very memorable part of the trip. The mariachi band that serenaded us on our balcony at sunset.. they were incredible! We were there in celebration of my boyfriend’s mother’s birthday so it made for a very special evening.
White and gold combination with Nissa jewels
This palapa on our beach made for some fun photos 🙂
If you are planning to visit Mexico, Puerto Vallarta is a definite recommend… Stay tuned for my Travel Diary Pt. Dos.
